We had an amazing sleep, and woke to a hot cup of coca tea served at our tent. The campsite was beautiful and after a good breakfast and Stuart taking care of a couple of blisters we were off on Day 2. Darwin promised that it would be easy and compared to Day 1, well, it was a walk in the park.

The climb out of the valley was difficult, the overnight rain made the path very slippery and dangerous in a couple of places - but very quickly we were walking along a solid dirt path, enjoying the views, the conversations with Darwin and learning much about the flora and fauna of the area.

It was incredible how the environment changed in a matter of a couple of kilometers, from rocky steppe to sub-tropical climate with lush surroundings.
We arrived at our 2nd camp early and after a great lunch were able to soak our tired feet in the cold river and enjoy a few beers.
